Aderlass was a solo experimental black metal project created by a German teenager living in Poland. Margaret Hesse Margaret Leśniewski Gretel Nachtnebel was 13-14 years old in 1999, living in an chaotic, oppressive religious household. As a coping mechanism, the young teenager attempted drawing and painting before moving on to music. Her music, being raw, abrasive, melancholic and violent was objectively terrible but was the only thing that made Gretel happy.
